As a Robotics Mechanical Design Engineer, You will be part of a team working to design and develop the next generation of autonomous robots for outdoor applications.

As a Robotic Mechanical Design Engineer, you will help design various components related to robotic systems and industrial automation systems in general. You will work closely with various engineers and will be responsible for generating engineering designs in adherence with design practices and assembly operations. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong knowledge of material selection, coatings, seals, bearings, tooling, mechanical assemblies, GD&T and drafting standards.

Candidate should have hands-on experience, a rapid prototyping mindset and the ability to work well with a cross-functional team towards the development of these new systems. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be familiar with 3D printing and practices involved with rapid prototyping.

As a Robotics Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing Fixtures and components.

• Initial layout, sizing, and optimization of systems.

• Designing complex electro-mechanical assemblies.

• Creation and maintenance of technical drawings and bill of materials.

• Working with various teams to support manufacturing, integration and testing.

• Conceptual level design work that will mature into a full 3D model that is thoroughly validated through FEA analysis and fundamental calculations.

• Progressing the design to manufacturing and conduct appropriate testing and integration in the process.
